Mission Patrimoine: Safeguarding and restoring French heritage

In 2019, through the Mission Patrimoine games, exceptional Ministerial loans, donations collected and sponsorships, FDJ Group raised a total of nearly €47 million for the restoration of at-risk French heritage sites

Of the 390 selected in 2018 and 2019, 39 sites have already been restored and 131 are in the process of being restored.

A scratch card launched in August 2020

FDJ is still capitalising on the success of previous campaigns, with the launch of a new Mission Patrimoine scratch card under the illiko brand on 31 August 2020. The €15 scratch card offers players a chance to win up to €1.5 million. A portion of the stakes, i.e. €1.76 versus €1.52 in previous campaigns, is donated to Fondation du Patrimoine.

New this year: players have the chance to enjoy a “historic” experience at a French heritage site. With Operation “Second Chance”, when the scratch card contains no prize, players can participate in a drawing to enjoy an exceptional tour of one of the heritage sites identified by Mission Bern.

centred on the European Heritage Days

The highlight of the third annual Mission Patrimoine games took place in September 2020, when French heritage sights took the spotlight during the European Heritage Days.

FDJ held five consecutive Mission Patrimoine loto drawings (minimum stake: €2.20) over a ten-day period before the European Heritage Days in 2020.
